Lettuce Tacos

An easy healthy and tasty five-minute prep lunch or dinner option for you all. Try my prawn lettuce tacos this week and thank me later. -

This low carb ‘not no carb’ plate makes the perfect cut friendly meal. The below ingredients will make you around 4-5 tacos and comes to just over 500 cals per serving. Providing 36g of protein, 38g of carbs & 13g of fat.

Lettuce Tacos

Low carb, quick, easy and versatile

Ingredients -

50g romaine lettuce 

150g king 

1 tomato 

75g avocado 

50g halloumi 

150g of baby or salad potatoes 

Salt

Fresh lemon 

Paprika 

Garlic salt 

Fresh parsley -

Method -

  • Season your prawns with salt, paprika and the juice from half a lemon. Then leave in the fridge for a few hours. 

  • Dice your avocado, tomatoes and parsley, season with salt and mix together in a wee bowl. 

  • Chop your potatoes and halloumi into small chunks. Season your potatoes with garlic salt 

  • Then place your prawns, potatoes and halloumi under the grill on medium heat for around 10-12 mins. 

  • Once cooked stuff your lettuce leaves with your cooked prawns and avocado salad salad and enjoy. -
